Devere trials smart metering
devere hotels has signed a deal with metergy, the up and coming smart metering energy company. Devere is to trial smart metering in three of it's Village branded hotels.
the aim of the trails is to monitor electricity, water and gas consumption accross the selected sites and to drive down energy consumption by circa 20%.
the consumption will be monitored via metergy's cutting edge energy management suite - smartfusion. the software can send alerts via text or email when energy consumption hits user defined limits. This allows management to control energy consumption in realtime.
devere is already planning roll-out of the smart metering project throught out its portfolio of over 130 hotels.
